fists of fury

as promised i'm trying to debut some of the items from the haul of purses and such that i brought home friday. here's another little sampling: this time a bit more hippie chic! today the boy and i were total hipster freaks: we slept late and then went to the cool new independent coffee shop downtown, then to the hipster beacon for lunch, and then thrifting. this afternoon we'll break the streak and go celebrate india's independence day at the temple with some of my clients and fill our bellies with delicious food - hooray! however, tonight i think i'm gonna hermit-it-up and let the boy go do boy things whilst i lock myself in the sewing room with my ipod for a few hours... sounds like heaven to me!

i was actually in the midst of bringing my hands up under my chin to pose like a sears portrait but got caught half way and instead look like i'm showing off my tiny fists of PMS fury - which is actually more fitting.

here's the oversized envelope clutch i got for 99 cents!
(note the one yellow thumb nail - bought the polish from UO yesterday thinking it would be more opaque - very disappointed)

look at my mad posing skills!

the end!

i wrote that post on painfully hip :)

(yep. anything posted on there by "diana" is little 'ol me...)

i'm SO excited about the package!!! but i also feel bad 'cause yours might take a few days longer than i'd hoped, for me to send out. between being sick/having my car in the shop, i'm not going anywhere real fast these days...

Well, let's set up a KIDNEY-SWAPPING DATE!!! That would be great. We could accelerate our lifetime friendship instantly.

I do have one concern about our doppelganger potential though--you apparently have fashion styles and posing sense. I own, like, 3 accessories, and look really uncomfortable whenever I stand in front of a landmark. OH NO!

You are so pretty, I love your hair more than I can say! Sounds like a really good day, regardless of how hipsteriffic it may have been :)

'Just wanna say that I love, LOVE, LOVE the look. And I wanna know where you found my jeans from 1972?!?!? I miss them! Seriously, this look is such a throwback, and makes me wish I'd cut my hair then - but overall this is one of my favorite looks. You wear it well!
